Hi Lee - We have a group policy with Admiral : We have a 997 Targa4S; A Boxster 986; and everyday car VW 2litre Blue Motion Estate. The Porsches have restricted milage at 5,000 pa for each and the VW 15000. For all three we paid £685 (on renewal) for all three. The first year we paid on the usual renewal date of each vehicle a proportion of the premium and on renewal last January all three were renewed together so we had to pay the £685 all in one go but now nothing until January renewal next year. The first year we didn't have any no-claims to attribute to the Targa as it was an extra car. If you need any further info please don't hesitate to call me 07771 932609.

I believe Admiral are farly intransigent as to who carries out repairs and this is not always with Porsche approved establishments. It's another thing to check on before committing.

I can't believe there are 15 year old 997s about! [] When I started looking for a 911 I dropped in to my local PC to look at them, and a sales guy insisted on taking me out for a drive of his just-arrived first 997 demo car. (It was great, but not in my budget! I then took about 18 month finding the right 993. . .)

PS - on the subject: Another vote for Manning
