I live in London, no garage and just swithced to Aon via the Porsche club scheme. The reduction in premium was around 35% from my ist year premium last year. No trackday cover though. Give them a call. There will be an advert somewhere around here or in Porsche Post.

Another year and another insurance premium to pay. Having spoken to A Manning and a few others, despite all assurances that these companies can offer you a decent premium there always seems to be an excuse why they cant - not garaged, living in London etc. etc.!!!

Can anyone recommend a suitable insurance company that will offer me a realistic premium to insure my 993 in London?

You could also try RH Specialist Insurance. Just had a reasonable renewal notice from them.

The trick is to get the car onto a "classic" policy - car only needs to be 10 years old. My 964 RS costs me £530 a year garaged in central London for 5k miles a year with an agreed value of £50,000. I just renewed on this basis yesterday with a a company called Hagerty (based at Silverstone). I've been with them for the last couple of years and can't recommend them highly enough ........... Jamie
