Who's using which other than Lancaster. Is there an outright best company at the moment.?

Bronco
Depending on milage and usage try a classic policy I use AON £260 per year. There are a lot of companies offering classic policies have a look in the back of P and 911 world. There are certain restrictions alarm and garaged at night.

There are a couple of earlier threads about this. I have always used RH Specialist policies on a limited mileage policy. They advertise in most of then classic car mags. and were cheaper for me than AON and Flux.

Don't forget "Performance Marque" & also "Peart"

I have been happy with them & also with "AON"

Keep away from "Mayfair Insurance" / "Performance Insurance".

Do any of these include trackday cover?

Anyone recommend any companies for limited mileage & track cover?

A Manning cover PCGB Track Days as part of their PCGB 5,000 miles comprehensive (parked off street but not garaged) for circa £350

I'll second Highfeild's suggestion of 'A Manning'. I've been ringing round this week as my insurance renwal is due also and they have quoted £310 for 5000 miles fully comp. with £100 excess, although the track day cover excess is alot higher.

I think AON will allow you so many per year I have not done any so can not confirm. Because of the age of my SC it is now unlimited mileage. have had no problems with AON but I have not made any claims!

I have tried all of the above, having previously been with Lancaster until 17/3.
Adrian Flux were the best, not only on the price but the quality of service. Others varied on the service side from poor to disinterested
There is obviously a bottom line that you can reach by calling around, below which you cannot go, (these guys are all brokers and therefore the underwriter sets their net premiums and the difference is the brokers commission. There are only so many underwriters hence the limit on the bottom line.) Also check the charges as some will make a charge of £25.00 for the policy issue, renewal, and any mid term alterations so whilst the initially quoted figure seems good, you end up paying more)
My recent experience says that classicline are good and Flux are good as...both highly professional the former using Equity Red Star and the latter Chaucer with not a fag paper between the premium and the cover on either.
Didn't do AON as couldn't get through on the phone so no experience there.
Be careful....its a jungle out there....[8|]

Greetings
Have been with PRIVILEGE now for two years, fully comp, daily use, with sports exhaust and filter, parked off road in fresh air overnight, also covered for the memsub to drive, and no-claims-protection...........wait for it........£578.[:)]
Not bad, quite a few companys didn't want to know cause it's unlimited mileage.
I'm too old to just look at the car in the garage.Every day rain, wind (not me) and snow off I go into the wilderness of the M25......deep joy.
