I've just had a call from the secretary of the Scimitar owners' club, who runs a monthly quiz between teams from different car clubs, asking if Porsche Club would like to enter a team. Teams can be any number of people but must have a captain. Partners are welcome too either as part of the team or as supporters / hecklers.

The format is trivial pursuit and car-based questions and as well as the honour of winning for their own club, the winners get to choose which charity the collection made during the evening should be awarded to.

The venue is Shipley Bowling Club on Bradford Road and the next date is 7th February.

If anyone is interested in forming a team either reply to this post or let me know by e-mail at r7@porscheclubgb.com. If you can't make 7th Feb, the next dates are 6th March, 10th April and 15th May.
 
That sounds like it could be fun, I will have to see if her indoors will allow me a pass out.
Not saying I am any good with quizes, but it will get me out of the hotel

I'd give that a go - no guarantees of any competence of course!

Shame it's so close to club night - getting a pass for 2 nights in 1 week could prove tricky.
