Three Region Karting Challenge "" Priory Park, Tamworth - 17 April 2009

Ron Miles has very kindly volunteered to organise a Karting Event. This will be a 2-hour endurance event to be held at the Priory Park outdoor circuit at Priory Park, Robeys Lane, Alvecote, Tamworth B78 1AS ( Tel 01827 899800 ) -www.priorypark.co.uk.

Owing to the numbers required, Region 9 has challenged Regions 8 and 13 to provide teams for the event to establish which region have the best Kart drivers.
This event will be held on Friday 17th April from 5.30 pm. We have space for 36 drivers and the event which will be divided into teams of 3.
The cost will be £40.00 per driver.
If individual Regions do not have a full team, do not worry, as we can assemble teams on the night. There is a very good indoor spectator viewing area, so even if you do not want to drive, you can still come along and enjoy the action and atmosphere at a great Porsche Club Event over the Easter period.
Hot food and soft drinks will be available on the night.

No can do, am on a golf day with Alan and a few others as its a stag do...

Have fun though and defend region 8!
 
We had a good chat about this last night at the region 8 meet, obviouly we first discussed how we would celebrate our win [;)]

But just to clarify it is a endurance race [:)] rather than just heats... on average each driver will get about 40 minutes of driving on the night!!
Apparently they have just had some new super karts too!!

I'd be interested in doing this if there are spaces available still, but I don't know which region I am in (I live in Atherstone on the Warwickshire/Leicestershire border)!

I get East Midlands TV through my aerial and West Midlands on Sky lol!

However the West midlands meeting place is closer than the East midlands, you are however free to attend any one you wish..

Looks like it may be a wet one but it does make for good racing [:)]
