As we hit a problem with the planned date for our Regional Karting Challenge, I asked the publications team to reflect this in regional reports advertising the event in next month's Porsche Post. The track is now booked for 6th June and all members previously booked are being advised of this. Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience this date change may have caused

[FONT=verdana, geneva"][FONT=arial"]All regions are invited to join Essex and Chiltern members for our annual regional karting challenge. This is a [FONT=arial"]Sunday 6th June event starting at 9:30am for up to 25 teams of 2-4 drivers at £175 per team. That is only £43.75 per driver for a team of 4. [FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]
T[FONT=arial"]his is probably the most enjoyable fun event for drivers at all levels and attracts the most female drivers of all our karting events.
It is held on the wide Lakeside Raceway circuit near M25 J30
(see [FONT=verdana,geneva"][FONT=arial"]http://www.lakeside-karting.com/[FONT=verdana,geneva"][FONT=arial"]) with its exciting devils drop. For karting instruction and other video clips to help you win use the following links

[FONT=arial"]The format is planned to be 25 min practice/qualifying and then a 2½ hour race with driver changes determined by each team. Please note that in the unlikely event that there are insufficient entries for this format we may have to revert to an alternate format. After the event you may wish to enjoy Sunday lunch at a pub near by in South Ockenden before driving home.

[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=arial"][FONT=arial black"]To book or express an interest[FONT=verdana, geneva"] in this Regional Challenge event please email Ashley Miller direct via ashley@mcsp.uk.com e[FONT=verdana, geneva"][FONT=arial"]ven if you do not think you will have enough drivers to make up a full team. It is possible Ashley will be able to help you make up a team using members of another region(s) in the same situation. S[FONT=arial"]uggestion... Use this event as a practice for the August Regional Challenge event at Buckmore Park assuming it is repeated. [FONT=verdana, geneva"][FONT=verdana, geneva"]

[FONT=arial"]Please publicise this event to members in your region.
