They did have more issues than this older article says. The whole engine wound up being rebuilt by John Milledge who is the godfather of the 951 race motor. Still I liked the openness of the article and it shows what can be achieved.....with buckets of money.[:mad:]
 
Norwood Engineering used to be owned by Bob Norwood (thought I believe he had moved on from that company before Bob Howard's 951 was built there).

Bob Norwood once built a 700+ HP 968 motor for his DOOM II car
