Interesting link

Good site, I'll bookmark that ready for the next S/H car I buy [;)]

Checked mine out, first MOT shown is Nov'06, a year after I bought it so not as enlightening as it would have been for a more recent purchase but it was interesting to read through the failure lists (handbrake efficiency, handbrake efficiency, number plate light [8D]) that I don't keep a record of.

It also interesting to note advisories that some mot's give that others don't spot, such as the nearside wishbone on mine was spotted to have play in 2005 and no further mention of it on subsequent tests until it finally needed changing last month.

I've known about this for quite a while now. Quite handy though to be honest!

It brought up almost nothing for my Porker bar one window washer not working and a dodgy Lower arm (which he changed and had the receipt for).

On my last MGB I owned, it certainly gave me a new insight into a local classic car specialist and the work he does (let's just say that despite the car passing an MOT for the past 2 years, the TREs had an awful amount of play, only for me to take the boots off them and find them all rusted up inside[&:]. I won't be dealing with that specialist again).
