Just came to mind, I did a recent VMAX Day with Pistonheads interestingly we both did 162MPH ......

Ah yes but he'll get into PCGB Annual day at Ragley for free (even if not a PCGB member) whereas you will have to pay....so technically he wins[]

Yes Jason good technical point, obviously I had the Ragley ticket in the car which weighed me down......[:D]

Got to be worth 1mph that Des so proves 964RS is faster car....good job you didn't have to go around any corners either or it would have been 2-0 to air cooled[;)]

oi Jason,

don't forget your roots man. [;)][:D]

and I thought it was Des that had a problem going round corners[;)]
sorry Des, only joking [:)]

Hi :)

That Vmax run....was the 928Gt light brown and LHD ??

I have just realised it was probably the famous Joe ICE COOL..aka Joe Farman....hes a drag racer...

If you kept up with him you were doing very well, especially with a couple of cylinders short [;)]

All the best Brett :)

I saw the 964RS at Ragley and wondered if it was the ame one at Vmax. My 928GT Autobahn cruiser was standard including spare wheel first aid kit tools kids crap all over etc apart from the unintentional weight reduction on the first run when the chin spoiler fell off at 145ish and spent the rest of the day near the tree line near the burger van.

my old 83S corners better than the 91GT with soggy suspension an crappy Avons, i went grass cutting out of Quarrey quite a few times last Friday at Castle Combe.

There are a few 928's out there that can and do give the air cooled a run for their money on the track now, not me i was pushing harder at CC last time than the time before but was a bit more confident with the car after seriously binning it and breaking my pelvis in February, and wasn't a sloutch by any means and Paul A lapped me in 6 laps.

A Ragley Hall ticket must weight a fair bit my crutches in the back never slowed my 1/4 mile times any, lol.

Joe
