I am interested in the above car but have a small query. The dash is blue but the rest of the interior is grey. I have never seen or heard of this before. Advices please.

"You cannot wear that jumper with those trousers" (GF). Trouble is, most car colour combinations are chosen by men....

Personally I think grey and blue go well together, but I don't like the fact that Porsche colour the steering wheel - I think it should be black to match the black dials/radio bar etc

That's exactly the same colour as my interior, too. This is not an unusual combination - you see it on cars advertised for sale, from time to time. Usually on Blue cars, though I await to be proved wrong ...

Nothing to worry about. I would concentrate on checking out the rest of the car ! I have to say it looks pretty scruffy from what I can see in the picture [&:].

Noticed also that the numbers in the odo dont line up very well - someone been at it with a cocktail stick??

No airconditioning fitted (that's a bit of a guess - but notice the single button on left of heater unit)

That's absolutely correct. Bit odd for a UK car ?? Far Eastern Import ? (HK/Japan) Worth checking.

If you have the money and are looking for a nice blue Cab we are looking to sell ours although was going to wait until spring..
late 96 model C4, with factory fitted 18" alloys.. full history including original purchase invoice etc etc..

Check out http://www.big-man.co.uk under Photo Galleries, Cars, Ruths.. It can't be seen in the current pictures but it current is fitted with a genuine turbo spoiler.. (original electric spoiler is stored in bubble wrap..)

Same colour as mine.

Think you will find that they are Cobalt Blue and Marble Grey. Quite a common combination.

If you buy the car and want to tidy up the leather I used the leather dyes from Dynamix. They advertise in the Porsche mags and have a web site. Brought all of my leather up like new including the seats, gear knob, handbrake and the steering wheel.

Very common combination (which I personally dislike) but have to agree that it does look a bit scruffy and, err, well used.

anyone know how difficult it is to remove a dashboard cover,
i really don't like the blue,[] so wanted to change it for black,
or take it out and colour it black.

ps the lower dash pads in my cabrio are black ! ([:D] so one less thing to chage )
door cards etc. in blue, leater seats in blue.

found everything else on e bay - black steering wheel, carpet, door cards and seats . .. all full leather

Exterior is Polar silver + blue roof.
Thanks for any hints

Did this on my 3.2 without too much bother..
From memory [8|]
There a fixings at each end, covered by the black end plates on the top cover itself.
There are also a number of 10mm nuts.. you can access these by removing the center air vents.
The air vent itself hooks in at the bottom and can be removed by releasing the 2 lugs visible in the vent at the top and rotating the vents and surround out..
Or something along like that..

May have been more 10mm nuts which I had to get too from inside the boot.. can't remeber sorry, although i'm sure someone with a better memory can tell you.
