Interior light upgrade

In my never ending quest to ensure Beaky is all nice and lovely (good money after bad?) I have just upgraded the interior light for £1.69

In truth it was not so much an upgrade as a return to original specification. It transpires that the interior light is a 10w bulb and mine only had a 5w bulb in the fitting. No wonder it was gloomy.

I wonder how many more people only have 5w interior lights.

While on the subject, nobody has mentioned the bulb in the headlamp switch recently [;)]

I tried to get the 968UK boys to bite on the headlamp switch bulb recently but they didn't go for it [;)][FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]So, how much lighter is a 10w bulb? [:D][FONT=verdana, geneva"]

So, how much lighter is a 10w bulb? [:D]

I'm note sure, as it is still light outside, but I would estimate 5.5w. [:D][:D][:D] I am assuming at least a .5w reduction through the reduced connection of the original shorter bulb. [8|]

Ah its bigger must be heavier then not lighter [&:]

Damn! Why is it that every upgrade is a compromise? [:D] Perhaps I'll return the lighter small bulb for the summer when I don't need the light.

I'm assuming Fen has removed his interior lights completely.

How much does a watt weigh?[FONT=verdana, geneva"]

It's going to be quite a lot as, if you compare a 50w Marshall head with a 100w Marshall head the latter is much heavier. When you think about these Chav Saxos with 1000w of ICE, I'm surprised they can muster sufficient power to move the things.

[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]Actually I haven't (well, the glove box one is missing but that's more because the cab one was broken and the Turbo donated). They are quite useful so maybe I could just drill some holes in them to make them lighter [:D][FONT=verdana, geneva"]
