Interior lights stay on for approx 10 minutes after ignition switched off.

Hi,

I have a C2 996 Coupe, which unfortunately doesn't get driven as much nowadays and after a recent outing i noticed a couple of issues, which may or may not be connected.

1. When starting the engine, the ignition doesn't return to its correct position and has to be positioned manually.
2. The interior lights stay on when driving and when the ignition is switched off they stay on for about 10 minutes.

A bit of investigating suggests these issues could be related and its the ignition starter switch that needs replacing and as such i should be grateful for any opinions/advice.
