As barks said, evo stick is great. You can put it on both sides (the fabric side and the thing you are sticking the fabric onto), leave them both to get tacky, and then pull the fabric into place and stick it down. Taking time and patience is key; you'll probably find you do the job two or three times, working it more closely into place each time to get it smoother and flatter. (Wrinkes are your nemesis ... )
