Interior mirror

Hello, quick question, is the interior mirror glued/double sided taped onto the windscreen - or does it clip into a tab previously fitted to the 'screen?

I ask because mine is stuck on with double sided tape, but the screen also has a unused tab.

Records show a replacement screen was fitted by auto windscreen people at some point
 
I had a new windscreen from Autoglass recently and it came with a bracket already bonded to the screen which the mirror slotted into. They had some difficulty getting the mirror to fit and actually broke the mirror and had to get me a new one which they filed down to fit before trying again.
 
The screens have the disc bonded on, and the mirror mounts on the disc: most windscreen replacement folk seem unable to mate the mirror to the disc, or unmate the mirror from the old screen, without breaking either the mirror or the screen. I did mine recently after a screen replacement by carefully easing the spring steel tabs on the back of the disc until the cast metal tongue of the mirror could be squeezed into the slot, finally using shaped hardwood blocks, and a clamp to apply pressure to get it fully home. It was not very easy and Icould see the new screen flexing as I did it.
