Interior questions

At the weekend I thought I'd fit my three point harnesses to my car. Only there is a slight technical hitch - there isn't enough room for the eye bolt between the seat and the transmission tunnel. Is there an easy off the shelf solution, or should I have eye bolt plates welded in the car (where abouts?)?

My heater does not blow air into the foot wells, the air vents on the dash and in front of the screen work - so it's not the fan. I suspect the controls, any further ideas and possible remedies?

Thanks

Tom

Brey Krause do some harness atatchment adapters, I think Porsche Shop sell them.

The heater problem, you might find its just a plastic clip that has broken. Thats the most likely culprit.
Have a look around the passenger side of the centre console up where the heater sits, there is a small plastic cover that hides an actuator . My guess is its this conection that has brocken. Only a few £ from an opc....
Its a few years since i did this job on my car, but it worked...

If the clip is intact it could be that the servo motor has had water dripping into it and seized up. I had this problem with mine when I first got it and managed to save the motor by stripping it down and cleaning the rust off. A good squirting of WD40 and its still working now.
