Interior / upholstery repair / Scotland

Hi All,

Is anyone able to recommend anywhere in Scotland that I can get the trim around my sunroof fixed. Over the years, it looks like there have been a number of botched jobs done and now is in serious need of repair. I have / been told of / heard of a company called 'Trimtech', however, I thought I would check on here to see where you would recommend me taking the wee car to.

All suggestions / recommendations welcome!

Thank you,

Fiona

Peter at Eastern Western recommended Trimtech when I spoke to him a few weeks ago about a minor repair to my son's central console. He hasn't got round to getting it done yet but I know Peter's standards and if Trimtech are good enough for him they're good enough for me.

They're based somewhere in West Lothian. I don't have the details to hand but could dig them out if you need them.

Hi Clyde,

Thank you for the reply, if you could look out the details, it would be appreciated!

Thank you very much!

I have used Alex Watt and Son in Perth a few times and always been pleased with the work.

Oh aye, totally forgot about Alex Watt and son, they have previously done work for my husband's motorbike....

Thank you....

Over the years Watt's have repaired some old Porsche seats for me, completely re-covered a pair of VW van seats, and re-built a couple of bike saddles. Not only is their work good, but sensibly priced too. Mind you. I haven't used them for some time, so I presume they are still in business. They are tucked away in that wee industrial estate off the Dunkeld Rd.

Best of luck [;)]

Dug out the details but it wasn't Trimtech it was Trimline, who I think are based in Stirling. Their number is 07767 366552.

I see someone also recommended Wullie Ramsay in Loanhead who does excellent work. He did the interior for the Robin Hood 356 when Eastern Western restored it earlier this year, which was absolutely incredible.

We always use Cube Interiors in Ayrshire. Their work is fantastic anything from a small repair to fitting out a cross channel ferry.
