It is Meteor grey although for some reason Porsche won't impart that info. I had the whole wheel repainted, not just the spokes. Any road up, time for a gratutious photo then........[]ORIGINAL: Lancerlot
One member with a Guards Red car had the wheel spokes repainted in gloss black and they look very fetching and certainly enhance its overall look.
Yes - am thinking about going a different colour, but just thinking about options as well. Car's basalt black, so not sure if the black look would be too much - might be a bit too monochrome....
Other consideration of course is the problem of the diamond cuts - i.e. that refurb's are tricky and limited as only a small amount of the rim can be safely spun off. Have also considered going to the other extreme and gloss black for the whole wheels and losing the diamond cut completely - anyone else removed the diamond cut?

Thanks - so, that'll be the lighter of my two pairs then if I remember correctly as Meteor's quite light. Hmmm - probably not my favourite of the two pairs either. The black looks great against the red - not sure how they'd look against black though hmmm

That looks gorgeous!
One of mine has been done twice (thanks to a rock hidden in a deep puddle[]) and there's still plenty left on the rims for a lot more goes yet!
We have an excellent refurb place down here in Exeter. Don't know what colour (other than grey) would go with the black without looking rather "interesting" Could go for the RS orange I suppose?[8D]
