Hi All,
I'm new on the 997 side having traded in my 996 last weekend for a 2007 manual C2s in absolutely immaculate shape.
My old 996 (pictured) was an aero kitted car with sports exhaust, the new one has none of the kit nor sports exhaust and I've realised what a big difference to the driving experience a sports exhaust system can make, but now that I'm totally tapped out on the savings front am looking at the Gundo 'hack' to bring the extra smile.
Which brings me to my questions;
What are the pro's and cons of the 'hack'?
Is it MOT legal?
Will the car need a remap?
Does it only effect the sound? Or have any negative impacts on performance?
The standard system is quite quiet - how much louder is a car hacked, would it become a nuisance?
