Hi,

I became a 944S2 owner on Friday :ROFLMAO: ,so just saying hello to one and all and to say thanks to all involved in the forum.
I used the forum alot to learn about the 944 before I started looking.I have bought J227 TFP which was talked about on the forum.Drove it back 260mls to Ripon in North Yorkshire and went well.Obviously well cared for in its past. Will get up on hoist this weekend and I will have a good look.A few bits to do but nothing major .Is there a download for the origional owners manual ? it was not with the car.Any thoughts on best engine oil and gearbox oil?
I am a leather restoration technician and hope to be giving a leather refurbishment session at the RPM Porsche Specialists( Harrogate),open day for Region 7 members ,later in the year.

Ah. Is that James Gould's black S2? Grey leather sports interior? If so, it's a nice one. Well looked after. Take care of it. And welcome. Oli.

It is James Goulds old car.Very detailed history and alot of expense maintaining it by him and the last owner..I will certainly look after it and enjoy as I am already. Nick

Get the sills cavity waxed, i may have an S2 owners manual, but let me check, yours for a fiver posted !

James did them religiously with the Bilt Hamber anti-rust product, which is one of the best. It's certainly worth keeping it up. Oli.

Ooo you lucky bugger!! Before I went on my square dash quest (still on it) saw that on PH and was going to go and look at it with the view to buying but he said you'd just left a deposit! Nice buy, it looked lovely - you'll have to get some pics up to tease me with lol [;)]

Enjoy!!! S2's are the best ! But don't say that on here or you will start a huge argument. (sssssssssssssshhhh!)[:D]
