Introduction

Hi All,

I've been a member of PCGB for the last couple of years and have yet to make it along to one of the monthly meetings.

I have a 1983 911 SC Targa and was wondering about the various models of Porsche owned in the Essex region, e.g. 20% 996, 10% 964, 10% 911SC, 10% 944 etc. Is this data available? Just trying to get a feel for modern vs classic ownership really.

BTW, I'm hoping to make it to next weeks meeting!

Cheers,

Tim.

Welcome Tim.....in Essex we don't differentiate between gender/creed/car type, we simply acknowledge all superior products made by Porsche as being God given and enjoy each others company from this perspective and I hope I am speaking for the majority!
You will be made very welcome at all & any event or meeting and you will find it impossible not to make friends. Martyn Molynaux (RO) makes it difficult for particularly new members not to feel relaxed and I'm sure you will be no different. Do come along .......Martyn will soon find you if the rest of us don't first!
Where do you come from and do you know how to get to the meeting?

Tim,

You should forgive Oily Rag's mis-spelling of my surname which you will find in correct version in Porsche Post, but I suppose that's the burden of having an uncommon surname[:D]

You will certainly be made most welcome at our next meeting and please visit the Essex Region website at www.porscheclubgb.com.

Please send your e-mail address to me at r11porscheclubgb.com so that I can add you to our circulation list.

With regard to your question concerning a breakdown of models in the region, this is apparently not readily available, but once the new PCGB database is up and running then I hope that this sort of information will become available.

Martyn

It is a sincere honour to be one with you John, altho glad to say not in the Biblical sense !
As for mis spelling Martyn......you can't get my nom de guerre correct & thats relatively easy ![:-]
