Many thanks to all whose who attended the first meet of the new Macan Register at Turweston Aerodrome yesterday. I'm very grateful to Derek Sharp and Chris Brockis who kindly showed us around
the hangars and the aircraft housed there including a recently restored Hurricane alongside a Tiger Moth, Chipmunk and Derek's own Bulldog. The weather was kind and after coffee we were able to
exercise our Macans on the runway at speeds of up to 120mph before we ran out of tarmac! It was then off to PEC Silverstone for lunch and the inevitable Register Quiz which was won by David Butler.
A most enjoyable day - thanks again to all involved.
