Iphone/Ipod Connection

Hi all,

Im trying to find a way of connecting up my iphone to my 2003 4.5 Cayenne S with sat nav unit, i have bought a cable that connects to the back of the radio (8 pin blue plug to iphone plug) but it does naff all, the iphone reconises its plugged in but the unit dont see the iphone, its prob the model of the radio ?

Has anyone used one before or have any sugesstion as i dont want to spends loads as it only gets used once a week.

Did you find a solution to this? I've also got 2003 S with the telephone kit (sim card and handset in the armrest) and want to be able to connect up my iPhone to use as a handsfree.

I used a Mobridge ipod interface which was brilliant, its for sale in the parts section and also on ebay.

You can buy the bluetooth ad on :)
