Hi All

I am looking to fit an Ipod connection to my 2003 996 and wondered which is the best one to get.? I would like to use the PCM screen and be able to search by artist, track etc.

I have looked at the Denision Galaxy 500 but you can only see track names.

Any ideas would be really appreciated.

Thanks

Jonathan

I'm in the same boat Webbo and probably going down the Dension route see thread below [link=http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=642918]ipod integration[/link] a similar thread on pistonheads threw up the same responses

whatever route you take, i feel the ipod sits nicely just under the steering wheel where the manual is supposed to sit. i have mine there and its easily accessible. altho if your car has a glovebox that might be a better place for it.

Just had a look at the Mobridge site and looks impressive. Has anybody got the device and how does it rate against the Dension Galaxy 500? Thanks Jonathan

I've asked the same question........ Apparently MoBridge edges it for the phone but Dension is good for the ipod and a little cheaper too. I've not seen either in operation so this is all hearsay. Which model is the Galaxy, i can't see it listed on the Dension website, only the 500

I whipped my original system out and replaced it with an Alpine unit, Ipod, DVD, Sat nav etc, Ipod sits on glove box and works a treat.

Do you mean In the glove box , you typed on , and with a name like Liam you must be one of us ( Irish Roots that is ) .

Hi Guys, if anyone has taken out a 16 bit pcm 1 navi drive and would like to sell it then please send me a pm as mines knackered. thanks jason
