ipod cradle recommendation

hi all

first post so be gentle (please!) Just wondering if anyone can recommend a decent cradle to keep my 2nd gen iPod Nano in place in my 2001 986? I'm using the cheap & cheerful option of Griffin iTrip Auto FM but need a way of stopping the iPod from knocking around while still giving access to the controls. The ones I've seen on eBay look a bit tacky and bulky.

Thanks
Adam

Hi, I dont know if this is any help. The flap that covers the top of the Ipod when in its cover fits nicely in the gap above the air con and below the sat nav in the center consol - and all the controls are usable. Then the itrip plugs into the unit. works well.

the ashtray cavity looks like it could be a good place to hold an ipod nano (for non-smokers) - has anyone tried this?

I'm sure Brodit would do a clip/mount if you search their extensive range - you'll need to buy the mounting plate that goes to the passenger side of the air con panel too, so you're looking at £40 or so i reckon.
