iRacing @ Spa

You should try this racing simulator and we might even race together at Spa. [:D]

The rendering of Spa track is amazing and the physics of the car enables a learning that should transfer on the track.

And Oulton Park

I have driven Oulton a lot on rFactor but the new scanned in track on iRacing is another matter altogther. It is genuinely the scarriest track I have taken on in any sim, I gave up counting how many times I crashed off. God I hope its not that tricky in real life [something tells me it is].

Spa on iRacing is my favourite track in any sim game by some margin.

I have never driven there but the advice I have had is that it takes a very long time to learn. I can see why after tackling it in the MX-5 cup on iRacing. I got down to 2:01 flat with the new tyre model which is great compared to real life times but probably nothing like as good as the game aliens you get on those things. Just when you think youv'e got the hang of it, oh no another crash off [:D]. I think I must have crashed on every corner at least 3 times [:D].

Might have another go later, haven't been on it in ages.
