There is a trip being organised to Ireland, R27.
Dates and details below. I am attending this (but only Fri to Sunday) and a few others have mentioned about going.
If anyone is interested please contact me to arrange as ferries / hotels etc need to be sorted out.

JUNE
Wed 3rd to Sun 7th - R27 (Irish Trip)[/b]

Wednesday 3rd June[/b] drive to Newcastle for a trip to the world famous Mourne Mountains (the twelve peaks include Slieve Donard which is Northern Irelands highest mountain) and their surrounding scenery including Tollymore Forest Park, which sits at the foot of the Mournes.

Thursday 4th June[/b] drive to Enniskillen, a beautiful town that lies on the banks of Loch Erne and the Marble Arch Caves, these are one of Europe's finest show caves allowing visitors to explore a fascinating, natural underworld of rivers, waterfalls, winding passages and lofty chambers.[/b]

Friday 5th June[/b] drive along the Causeway Coast to include a stop off at the Giant's Causeway. The Causeway became widely known as the 'Eighth Wonder of the World' from the 1700s when large numbers of visitor's came to view this amazing array of basalt columns. We will also have a tour of the Bushmills Distillery which is the World's Oldest Licensed Whiskey Distillery

Saturday 6th June[/b] join us at out annual open day at the stunning venue of Shanes Castle Antrim. Amongst many activities the day will include our concours event as well as Porsche Shop, children's fun areas, classic/vintage car area and refreshments.

Sunday 7th June[/b] a relaxing drive to parts of Lough Neagh. The Lough is used for a variety of recreational and commercial activities; it is also used as a source of fresh water. After enjoying the peaceful environment we will commence on your journey back home.



(Alan and Alyson Welshman of R27 have invited everyone to attend all or part of this event. Some members have indicated they wish to attend for the weekend (Fri to Sun) only. I need numbers asap to comfirm who is attending and confirm hotels/ferries etc.

Me ,Susan and the boys are heading over on the Tuesday 2nd from Troon
Coming home on the Sunday 7th at Night back to Troon.

Looks like a great Trip and the Crack will be excellent as ever.

Have been told there are lots of cars going from all over the UK so will
be loads to see.
