Iris Blue 993 Targa - "Evo Triangle", Sat 23/6

On the way back from a day-trip to North Wales on Saturday, I thought I'd take a minor detour on the journey back to Cheshire and try out the "Evo Triangle" where the magazine does a fair chunk of its road-testing.

On the A543 stretch, heading up out of Pentre Foelas, I happened across an Iris Blue 993 Targa (reg. M 340 ***, I think) and slowed to allow him to pull out of the lay-by where he was parked up.

I then followed him up to the top of that "side" of the triangle, where he parked up just before the turning onto the B4501 that takes you back down to the A5. Judging by the way he apparently knew which of the blind corners and rises he had to brake for and which he didn't, he knew the roads quite well......

Anyone on here? If so, hello and thanks for the short-but-sweet convoy! [:)]
