Is anyone here thinking of selling a modified turbo?

I thought he'd have seen the light by now but a good friend of mine who used to own an S2 is now looking at buying a 968. Last time he was looking he drove a turbo that he described as feeling 'gritty' and a lot slower than the S2. I don't know what exactly was wrong with the one he saw, cannot have been boosting but I would really like him to at least drive a decent turbo before he spends his £10k budget on yet another N/A!

He used to love his golf 1.8 turbo and I think he would be suitably impressed by a turbo running as it should.

Ummmm £10K. Now would I sell Beaky for £10K?.......But then what Porsche would I get instead if I did?

Yes I'm not sure he would pay £10k for a 944t. My argument to him is why pay £10k for a 968 when you can get a superior (well faster at least) 944t for £5k!

Mine has just gone up for sale on fleabay today mate. As it happens the buy it now price is £5K. Won't go into the details right here and now buy I am going to be temporarily Porscheless [:(][:(][:(]. PM me if you want to know any more mate.

Excellent I've text all the details of the cars here and emailed too me. Now just remains for me to persuade him to come with me and see one of them. I'm thinking the guards red car might be a good shot because your close and guards red is his favourite colour on the 944.

Rob, That's a crying shame both that you have to sell and that it only seems to be worth that.
Hurry back.

Thanks David & Paul. I know she is a £6K car but she needs a few bits and pieces doing to get her in that condition and circumstances say I need to sell her. Don't worry though I will make it as temporary as possible and I will be back. I will still be on here though adding my two penneth and listening to you guys going on about how great your 944s are [:(][:(][:(][:(][:(]

Seconded! [&o]
Thirded. It's sad to see another regular member of this forum selling up. Presumably you are selling up for financial reasons, in which case I hope they don't get too bad.

You'll miss her. Like crazy.

Oli.

Sad to hear that Rob, I am only down the road, so we must meet up so that you can have a Boooooost fix occasionally!
