Is combining TIPEC and PC Club nights / events a good thing?

Due to the lack of activity in the Lincolnshire region for both clubs there is a possibility of combining for meetings and certian events.

What does everybody think to this please?

If you get more people combined then why not? Would be better to have functional meetings thatn see both clubs lose out... [Note: My opinion carries no weight/approval whatsoever! [8D]]

Another vote for why not, we are all porsche enthusiasts after all. It's a large region, and for me at least meetings held alternatively in the North then South appeared to work best. Although I never attended one in the North, at least the southern one albeit near Lincoln was only 3/4 hour away.

Why not? I'd speak to the relvant ROs from both Clubs, and see what they think. Personally, yes, personally [&:], I feel there's always a benefit from getting more Club members (either Club), and even non-members (or, as I like to think of them, prospective members) to every event.

Why not indeed? In the North East region we (TIPEC) joined in the PCGB event at Raby Castle and had our own display area. Later on, PCGB joined us for a visit to Tom Ferguson's Garage. I don't see a problem as we are all joined by the common bond of the Porsche marque. I am the TIPEC North East RO, by the way.
