There are of course many owners out there who have no idea about what constitutes a good driving experience they just want to be seen in a Porsche[], if thats their bag then good luck to them too.
Car ownership is a complex issue especially if you try and analyse the "ownership experience" and what it means to you , its so personal. Just look at the diversity of opinion in this club's forum.
Whatever your car is, if it gives you pleasure and enjoyment for whatever reasons thats a good thing for you, most of us enjoy our cars, I hope you do to!

Is it me ? or do you need to be in a certain " mindset" to drive a Porsche ?
I don't know what era of car you have but in my case with the cars I have I would not want to drive a Porsche without another car in between for more than around 4 days. Sometimes peace and quiet is nice.
I have a new boss at work and he said to me this week "Not in the Porsche today then?" I replied that I looked at both cars (911 & Fiesta) and that I couldn't be doing with the noise. []
it is ALWAYS a joy even in slow traffic!!just a beautiful machine and never ceases to put a smile on the face
