Prob been covered before, but it seems no matter what I search for, it returns 'Could not find etc. etc.' so apologies but I can't find anythng via the search function.

Has it been done before ?
Can standard turbo parts be adapted to be used ?

Thanks in advance for the info guys. Have been offered an S2 for good money, but I'd like more power, so looking for options/routes to get there.

If you want to tune for more power buy a turbo, for a few hundred pounds you can be on 300 bhp,to do that with an S2 is much harder and $$...

In theory you can shove a turbo on pretty much anything, it is just wether it is fancialy the most sensible thing to do.

Bespoke solutions always take time to develop and require one off parts. One off parts are expensive, can take a long time to get hold of and can be a pain to replace if they break.

If the gains were significant over a tried solution it would be worth the pain but, AFAIA, they aren't. I'd drag out the S2 and go with a standard turbo route myself. Cheaper still would be to sell the S2 and buy a Turbo.

Cheaper still would be to sell the S2 and buy a Turbo.

Or, buy a good shell with a knackered engine and get one of the bespoke uprated turbo engines fitted - would probably be a cheaper way to a fully sorted 400 BHP car.
