Is it safe to drive

Hi all,
I have had some oil droplets under the engine after a drive over the weekend (seem to settle after a while i.e. it has not halfed the oil overnight). It is under warranty so not too concerned if it is the RMS...

Anyway, I rang my local centre and they can take it in in 2 weeks time. What do I do in the mean time? Is it safe to drive it and top up the oil if necessary or will it have to stay in the garage for 2 weeks?

Thanks.

BTW: I did ask this question to the attendant when I rang the service centre an hour ago and apparently the person who can advise me is too busy and will call me back. Still waiting...

yes its safe to drive.. just keep an eye on the oil levels just in case... but the car will tell you when the oils low........

don't worry about it, i've known people drive there cars for months like that.

My 2001 2.7 was left standing for about one month just over a year ago, upon moving it I noticed a couple of 'spots' on the floor. Since then I have done nothing and only notice other 'spots' when I leave it standing for a couple of weeks or more.

I know this is the RMS as it was confirmed at my last service but i'm inclined to do nothing until it becomes more apparent, not sure how wise this is but so many stories of people having it fixed for it to only re-appear a few months later. I'm thinking I might as well get as much mileage out of the clutch and have that replaced at the same time so it takes the edge of having the RMS fixed.

It is RMS! Didn't get a call back from Chiswick, so I drove in to get it checked and the engineer very diplomatically said, "I have seen worse RMS damage, but then I have also seen much better too"

Chiswick seems to be very busy, the earliest they gave was 2 weeks from today i.e. if I don't want a courtesy car; so I'm taking it down to Porsche Guildford this Thursday near my work place...
