hi all, maybe looking for a nice clubsport and seen the white one new on pistonheads http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/715892.htm
on the 968uk site this one was for sale in july http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/599288.htm , does anyone know this car and is it the same one, why sell so soon if it is?

I would say yes....

There is a small mark on the top of the handbrake handle and also the standard CS didnt have a lid on the centre tunnel sorage thingy.. so thats an addition that an owner has had.
I'm sure the owner announced himself on the 968uk forum...

The ad does say....

I bought this car as a real 968 enthusiast and can honestly say this is as good a Club Sport as you will find. While I do not want to sell, having not owned her for long, a change in job situation in the present market means I have to re-prioritise my car situation.

Thats exactly what I thought last night.
Could be it's not the same car, but it looks very similar.
Wouldn't be the first time I've seen something at a good price on PH turn up a few days later on ebay, also a few times on this forum on the for sale section.
At a dearer price of course.
No sentiment if it's business[&:]

Cheers
Dave

Looks like a nice car and I really think CS's are not far off going a bit rare Porsche bonkers price type thing very soon.
You need to check the usual things re cams, belts, noisy diff bearing etc etc.

Cheers

You could always ask for the registration to run it past an HPI check. In the slim chance the plates have been changed, I believe HPI lists previous registration plates to confirm any doubts. Good luck

Reg numbers look consistent to my eyes - you can just about see the rear number plate on one of the old pics.

Clearly the same car - same radio, same mark on handbrake, same position of tax disk holder
