Yay []
Nice pic - there are not too many silver cars around. It's a very popular colour in recent times and I think it makes silver 944's look pretty up to date (in an early 80's kind of way [&:] )
Thanks, She's my pride and joy
When I was looking for a 944 I wanted Panther black with a linen leather interior and black piping. I soon realised that I was being silly and that I should look for a good car first and if any of the other bits fell into place the that was a bonus. After about a year of looking and a lot of research I found the car I now have about 15 miles from where I live. I went to see it and bought it there and then without an inspection! It was just so much better than anything else I'd seen and with only 65k miles and a FSH there was no reason not to buy it. I've since grown to love the silver colouring partly because it is fairly uncommon (If it's possible to have a common 944 and partly because Silver is a currently popular colour which as you say makes a relativly old car look a bit more modern. It has a Sport interior but it's not leather which is something I intend to change somewhere down the line it really is in almost factory perfect condition inside and has only a few minor blemishes on the outside. I'm getting the stone chips fixed later this year and then it will be time to start tuning
I'm really torn about changing anything though because it really is almost 100% original, the only changes are to the stereo, side repeaters and braided brake hoses (I have all the original bits)
Oh and I've fitted a boost enhancer and vacuum kit from Andrew Sweetenham
