Porsche say that the Lap trigger app and its Visual telemetry is only visible with PCM screen ... Is this true - do you need PCM for Sports chromo and Lap telemetry on GT4 ..?

some have got it without the pcm, but cannot get it to work as well via the app only.

So I guess if you want it to work 100% you need PCM

Thanks Mr D - I guess it looks like the PCM option needs to be ticked then as very difficult to sell with Club Sport spec without the Sports Chrono ... ;(

Not that sold on Sports chrono this time round so I did not spec it.

You cannot time on track days, and I won't be turning it into a race car, so a another odd option.

I don't get the CS pack either mind you, on a road car esp one that's not race ready and just adds weight.

save that for the RS Cayman

I'd agree D. It's a pointless App because you're specifically banned from using it on track days; something to do with the tracks' liability insurance I presume.

And if you want a roll cage, buy the Cayman GT4 Clubsport.

Jeff

Hi Jeff ... The roll Cage is a must have IMO - it adds to the Drama of the cabin and if the GT3's are anything to go by its a deal clincher having Club Sport Spec - bet hey ho, each to their own ;) Personally i just wanted the full "Fat" GT experience so specced the lot ... HaHa - I also love the Black cage with the Black wheels ;) What the Hell, in for a penny, in for a Pound ... Andrew
