Is the turbo recirc valve NLA?

hi,

Sorry, posted on the correct forum.

I last replaced this valve in 1998 at a rather good cost of £25 from the OPC. Its the black Bosch right angled valve, part number 993 110 337 50. It links the turbo compressor discharge to its inlet when the vacuum line pulls the diaphragm open.

I looked for this part on the internet via the usual UK sellers, but could not find it. Is it no longer available?

Thanks
Paul

Paul, fitted to a multitude of VAG vehicles, or buy a Bailey dv, available in black if you want to keep the original look.

In my experience you may find the same part but likely different part number...I tried to purchase an electrical connector clearly marked with a VAG part number (on the '91 944S2 it is the connector that plugs into the headlight raising motor) from Audi and VW and neither found it in their parts catalogues. I don't recall now if Porsche found the part but wanted current market value of my S2 for it but I didn't order one if they had it. A friendly auto electric shop managed to free the wire ends from the connector without breaking anything after I failed with paper clips, pen refills and the usual assortment of work a rounds. Hopefully Frenchy has a part number for you :)
I should say that I found this part online for reasonable money but getting it to my house was not at all reasonable...

Chuckle, they are having a laugh, search fleabay for an Audi or VW thing, or better still as said buy a Bailey DV.

I have a Bailey DV30 I was just about to put on eBay
also got the 90 deg top fitting
done less than 500 miles

its silver PM me if your interested

Thanks to everyone. Some rally useful advice.

I'm going to try for a standard one, thanks for the part number update, as I like to keep my car as standard as possible.

I last replaced this valve in 1998, it was only £25 then from the OPC, the current price of £143 was a shock to me.

I believe I bought the 993 one when my diaphram went as I was told it was a lot stronger, it’s been great for years .
