Got them off ebay to try and solve my heat stuck on problem
but wondered if theres any way of testing them to see if they work before i fit them

Can the pins be hooked up to a power source at all as they are numbered 1 to 5 ?

You'd need to make reference to the wiring diagram to work out what's what. Are the plugs not accessible enough to be able to measure the voltages on them at different positions? (I have an early 944 so I don't have such posh items!)

There is a set up and therefore testing procedure in the troubleshooting part of the HVAC section in the manual. I tested mine with 2 x 6V big square batteries together to ensure it worked prior to fitting.

Del taken directly from the manual. The procedure is the same for each motor. Reverse polarity to reverse motor.

Hope this helps mate [:)]

Yes, easily tested as Rob has said. I used a battery charger to (carefully) apply voltage to the relevant pins.

If you find that they don't work then they are fairly easily dismantled. One of mine was full of crud and had seized up. A good clean a bit of lubrication and it's as good as new.
