Club,
I have a 2001 Boxster 986 S and the V5C says the exterior colour is "Silver".
Is there any way to contact Porsche and find out from the VIN I guess the original factory order details.
i.e. the ordered extras, the leather colour, the trim extras,etc...
Many thanks,
Steve

Thanks Hotfrog1 and Cliffwilkins.

The PDF shows the numeric options.

How about items such as C16, XJB, XKW, XMY to name a few?

Thanks,
Steve

Thank you everyone.
The web site Stuttcars.com is superb. A wealth of information on there.
I followed the link above and I now have every code on the car sticker decoded.
It's just a pleasure to find out what the car was spec'd for when originally purchased.
Pedrosgarage.com also very good with a comprehensive list.
Good fun working this out on a wet Saturday.
Now to see if I can cost the car as originally purchased.
