Do not know the car but you have enough Porsches as it is!!!!!!
Looks and sounds good but I would have to come a long way home to view it!
If you are passing OPC Cambs have a look and make sure mine is OK[8D].
Over here the weather is a lot better than the UK and its mid winter so sunnies and BBQs.

Hi Brad
Nothing changes here:- Just heard the six o'clock news.
They are requesting spectators to stay away form the quali at Silverstone today. Reason:-
If they turn up today they fear the ground will get so torn up no body will get to the race tomorrow. (Mud bath)
I did hear a rumour that a silver 996 had fallen of th eramp at PC Cambridge this week - no idea if it was yours[]
I guess we would all chip in if you would bring th esun back with you from oz - now in fear of the Silverstone Classic not going ahead[]

Forgive my late reply I have only just noticed this thread and I'm new to the forum.
Ive owned the car for a year and soon after I bought it was offered an excellent career advance in Hong Kong. I decided that I would keep the car regardless of cost and dry store it at the end of the year before departure using it when I occasionally come back to the UK. In the meanwhile my partner and I have enjoyed weekend drives and car shows in it but as the leave date approaches the reality of owning this car here and living abroad seems silly and I think its more sensible to sell it before I go.
If I cant sell it, I will seriously reconsider dry storing it but have read these cars don't like to be stood for any length of time and I fear I will ruin it this way.
I have all the history on the owners of the car. I have also been in contact with the mechanic who carried out the engine rebuild, amongst much other work and he confirmed he owned it for three years and ran a classic car restoration business in Buntingford which along with the signed receipt of all work carried out, photographs etc put me at ease even though he isn't one of the main 964 engine specialists. That said, I've had it into Steve Bull Porsche Specialist in Devizes and he rectified any problems it had with a transmission leak (new seals and replace fluid), suspension damper leak (new dampers), oil pressure sender consul leak (new unit) and I was quite open to repairing any mechanical problems it had.
If you would like any other info or fancy coming across to view don't hesitate to contact me. Dave
