Is this quality German enginering

I've never seen the interior of a covin before - but it did make me giggle [:D]

My favorite quote
'THE QUALITY OF WORKMANSHIP IS SO SPECTACULAR THAT I ACTUALLY CHOSE THIS REPLICA OVER SOME GENUINE PORSCHE'S!'

I have to say Jacob you've made my day, thats the funniest thing Ive seen for a long time!
Funny but I've never thought of a Covin as "superior to most Porsche 911s"
Still the Guy said he bought it BECAUSE it's Superior to a real 911!

Better be carefull of what we say though he may be a PCGB member!!

Obviously I don't have correct glasses on, I can't see any links or piccy's or anything else to get excited about, I assume you are talking about some ebay page for a Covin.

I have seen these things before, they take them awfully seriously, but it appears that for the cost, you get could a real 911 [&:]

Unbelievable - it's gone for £4850 - what sort of real Porsche could you buy for that money.....

mmmmmmm....a 911.

I bought an 82 sc 18 months ago and paid £5000 for it. That was red too.

It took me a couple of visits to the ebay listing to take it all in. I'm assuming this guy is american, because of the absolute twaddle he has written. The 'car' has american plates...but is rt hand drive and the vendor is based in Nottingham UK?

Anyway as WE are all either film stars, rock stars, icons, hollywood blockbusters, or just plain eliteists, we haven't got time to waste on this drivel.....because I am WILL SMITH today OK?[:D]

I look forward to seeing Sunday's tabloid press, to spot the celebrity in his new purchase...not.

Wow - what an amazing bit of kit, never realised I was a rock star, had better stop going to work immediately, wonder where my millions have gone?

My god, my sides hurt!

The best bit is the statement that even "a genuine 911 owner couldn't tell the difference" [&:] Of courese we couldn't, there aren't any obvious clues at all to the fact it is a pile of crap! How many Turbos had a Carrera badge on the back and flat fours under the boot, well dodgy gear stick, non Porsche dials or ....

What a laugh, it just begs one question WHY?

Funny stuff, LMAO.

This is gonna hurt guys,
I went to santapod in 2004 in my 911 turbo. I got beat by a mini, yes a mini.
I did the 1/4 mile in 13.1 seconds which is quite respectable.

However there were two other turbo bodied 911's there. One had a turbo S engine in it and the other which was the fastest and quickest of both his friends car and mine actually was not a real 911 but a fibreglass covin replica.
The covin had an american V8 engine in the front, it sounded crazy. They were both two nice guys.

It's not what we may think is worthwhile but we shouldn't scoff. We expect people to respect us so we should do as we're done by.
But a 911 with a V8 at the wrong end is wild, does the driver have tattoos on his forhead?
