Is your Turbo exhaust just too quiet?

Blummin 'eck [] that's just plain silly.

I notice that Mark had some exhaust mods from Jon Mitchell to help him on his way to 342bhp, I wonder what they were?

Dear All,
I removed the front box on SCZ and had a straight through mild steel tube welded in a couple of months ago. IMO top result, superb deep resonance now at the rear (may shorten the life of the rear box?), I thought it would make the cabin noisy, but no. Now drive with the windows open just to listen to it. Especially accelerating uphill! Non-cat anyway of course. Im working on ideas to reinvent the back box, which hopefully will need replacing soon.

Hi Paul,

James explained that Mark's exhaust was a seamless replacement for the centre section and no cat.

I'd better get one added to my list [8|]

Being an '89 mine doesn't have a cat, but it does have the double skin (that can collapse) and a pre-silencer. I'm hoping with these out of the way it should still be way under trackday noise. I want my car to be a discrete vehicle when finished [;)]

John Sims recently drove a Turbo with a unique exhaust system. Ask if he can hear again yet [:D] [:D] [:D]

WUF's been at a few events since last month, but because of pressures of work I haven't had any time to get any more development or mapping done. I've got bits of as yet unconnected loom running around the engine bay[:D] [:D]

I went out yesterday morning in the sun and took WUF for a quick drive to charge the battery.

GTech only showed 310.4 / 303.3 RW HP/TQ (357/349 flywheel) at 16 psi, but the noise [;)] [;)] 50-70 1.804 seconds.

I'll get up to Allan's in the new year to map it properly when I've got the full sequential / cop sorted.

Just too many other things to get done at the moment so cars are taking a bit of a back seat !

I'm glad it's still progressing. I guessed from your lack of posting that you had other things going on.[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]I still need to pay you for the AFPR too - I haven't forgotten.[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]I need to go to Allan's to get a power figure once my car has been remapped with the new fuel pressure. We can co-ordinate if you like?[FONT=verdana, geneva"]
