Porscheshop Manx tour 15th. To 18th May 2015

After a two year gap due to the usual hotel burning down they are delighted to announce that the Isle of Man trip will be returning in 2015 ( May ).

There will be changes. We will be staying at Ramsey rather than near Douglas. . There will be only 30 rooms so you will have to book early.
The hotel is a new one and we should have total exclusive use of it during our stay.

For those of you who have never visited the "˜Island' you will be in for a surprise. It has some of the most stunning scenery in the British Isles from Mountain vistas to sandy coves. For the driver one of the great features is a lack of maximum speed limit on roads away from towns and villages. You can use your Porsche in the way it was intended.

Itinerary.

Friday 15th. May. Arrive by ferry to Douglas and drive to Ramsey in the North of the Island.
In the evening there will be a reception with a glass of wine and a buffet.

Saturday 16th. May. Rise early for the traditional "˜Dawn Raid'. This will be different to previous Dawn Raids as we will be starting in Ramsey and driving the T.T. Mountain circuit as far as "˜Creg- ny- Baa where we will stop for a short time before returning over "˜The Mountain' to Ramsey for breakfast.
Saturday. PM. The T.T. Challenge. This is a Regularity run over the T.T. circuit starting at the Grandstand. Car will be started at 20 second intervals and given an average speed to attain over the 37.73 mile T.T. course. The winner will be presented with the "˜Dixie Deane Memorial trophy' at the Gala Dinner. All successful entrants will receive a certificate.

Sunday 17th. May The second Dawn Raid. The reason for two Dawn Raids are (1) You can't get too much of a good thing and (2) In case the weather stops us on the Saturday.
Most of the day will be free to tour the Island before returning to the hotel for the Gala Dinner in the evening.

Monday 18th. May. For those of you not on the Dawn boat, a leisurely breakfast, more sight seeing and embarkation for the trip home.

Cost and booking. Price £275 per person
The costs shown are per person assuming two people sharing the car and hotel room. It includes ferry fare, Hotel accommodation with breakfast, Welcome Reception and Gala Dinner. If we can come up with anything else we will include it without extra cost.
You can get your booking form by contacting Geoff Ives by email at g.ives1@btconnect.com

Or mail me and we will give you his contact details.
