Issues with My Porsche app

Just checked the app and it is showing the car located about 30 miles away and unlocked. The car is locked in my garage!
seems to have frozen at the point when I took the car out a few days ago to a National Trust property. All the other data such as mileage and fuel level appear to be frozen.
The app shows as updating when logging in but does not update, have tried reinstalling the app but did not resolve the issue.
Has anybody come across this issue?

Hi Neil,

Have you usually been able to access the car via the app when its in your garage? I wonder if the car isn’t able to receive a signal, so may be worth taking outside where there is a stonger link and trying again.

Hope you can fix it.

Regards David

Hi David,
Never had a problem with the signal in the garage before, will take the car out for a drive and see If I can clear the fault. Otherwise may be a trip to the dealership.

Regards

Neil

Just a quick update, been away in the car for a couple of days, the problems persisted until yesterday when the app must have been updated for the app subscription renewal. Unfortunately the vehicle status is not refreshing even after refreshing the app and showing ‘just updated’- showing the car as unlocked, doors open and windows open 21 hours ago☹️ . Decided to speak to Porsche UK as past experience with the dealers is that they have very little knowledge beyond suggesting re-install the app. Porsche UK have raised this as a query through the app for Germany to look at. Will update if any further response.
