It may be small but it's made me happy

Today I finally got round to changing the broken bulb bulb in my clock. I discovered that the small LED bulbs in T5 dash lights are exactly the same size as the clock's original, and so, after a little fiddling around with the original bulb holder, I can now see my clock in the dark.

Its only a small job but it gave me a warm cosy glow [:)]

ahem ..I guess you are sending this from your car where you are sitting in the warm cosy glow of your clock?[:D]

Its suprising how some of the smaller jobs can be so satisfying,I replaced all of my dash bulbs when I first bought my Lux as there were a couple not working...the result was brilliant![;)]

I agree. The bigger jobs can be such a roller coaster of emotions, hopefully ending on a high. It is the frustrations of the troughs that makes me go the subcontract route on occasions. What you don't know you don't fret over.

The dash clock was the only light I had on the dash when I collected my car last Monday so I have a soft spot for it already! Shame the clock itself doesn't work.....

War there ever a consensus on whether the LED / bulbs can be changed for a high intensity blue bulb - i.e. to match my Flaming Eye kit?
