Put the 964 turbo in to cure a small oil leak, which was thought to be the power steering cam seal, my garage can change it in situ, so not a very expensive job.....so what happens, when removing the exhaust bracket, the bolt at the back which screws into the cylinder head sheared off, now the engine has to come out and the thing needs to be helicoiled
After all that, it turns out the seal was ok and the oil was dripping through the head cover bolts

I wish i never took it out my garage

It's not worth trying to undo any of the nuts that hold the headers on IMO. After snapping one myself I then went about it with a different approach. I actually used a nut splitter with 100% success rate, no snapped studs at all. I wish I'd have thought of it first... [:mad:]
