It started with a leak...

So the update on the car is that the cam covers had been over tightened and cracked them, they then perpetuated into a bit of a leak, and one of the nuts sheered so the engine had to come out- bugger!!

no drama, engines out and they've found a few other bits that needed attending to so I said yeah no problems, I then did the "while the engines out".. I might as well move up the plan for upgrades...

So when the car comes back I'll have:

Aluminum Cam Covers
New plugs and leads
RS engine mounts
RS Flywheel and Clutch
KAAZ LSD
New bumper hangers
New heat shields
Empty wallet...

Anyone else gone mad "while the engines out..." ??

...most of the above, including the slippy diff. Plus, in no particular order, a top end rebuild, uprated studs, gearbox rebuild, after-market steering arm bushes, etc. etc. etc. I believe I became a little hysterical in the end (the only thing that can explain it) and also fitted uprated suspension.

I often open my wallet to admire how tidy it is when empty...

Cheers/John

Intended RSR replacement - turned into full Cargraphics Exhaust system with 100 cell cats - full rear end rust treatment - new bumper hangers and heatshields.....exhaust tips.....etc etc....
