Oh, and Sorry H, I couldnt resist it [:D][:D]
Alternatively, Apply for work as a Porsche Techie in Germany, It could save a fortune with your P Car fleet

Im a complete newbie here, but spend most of my time stuck under someones car (generally my mates sodding beetle [] ) so if you want a hand with older cars just give me a shout

Welcome Ben hope you are near enough to help Helen out, she's a good sort. If you are handy with spanners consider joining the Porsche Buddies' scheme which will be extending it's arms a little alongside the new 'Technical Commitee' sometime this year, see.

That sounds like a good scheme...
Unfortunately I dont have a Porsche and Im not a member of PCGB at the moment (will do sometime soon, promise) however Im happy to help out anyone in the Leic area... put myself about 3-4 spanners on the haynes scale :ROFLMAO:

Yeh afraid you do have to be a P.C.G.B. member. Why don't, if you are a good DIY mechanic start learn and read up about the idiosycracies of Porsche and join the club.

Larrys home tonight and is working from home tomorrow so should be able to sort it out. Cats im sure Larry (my better half)would welcome a hand if your around?

Larrys had no luck on friday. and his at a directors meeting all today so i still can't take my beauty out for a run and im really miffed.

mybe i should sell it ?

For god's sake don't sell it Helen , things go wrong with new cars let alone 'classic cars'. Look how long it's taken me to fettle mine. There wil always be minor things going wrong with these cars it's what happens when you own a classic. This is why the extension of the 'Porsche Buddies' scheme , re-tooling of the club and the new technical commitee is so important. So don't give up , you just have to aquire patience for when the old girl is playing up. Fortitude Helen![:)]

uuuuuuummmmmmmm!! begining to think this cars female suffering with PMT. just went out to the garage and spoke to it (ok ok i know im nuts)then decided i'd have a go at starting it up and bruummm bruummm off we went for a very spirited drive around leicestershire (boy can this car shift when she wants too)blew a few cobwebs away and we are friends again..

left her out so i can give her a bit of a polish.. wonder if she'll start up later so i can put her away [:-]

Helen,

After reading the above, I'm going out to talk to my 964, to see if it will cure the decidedly bouncy handling [;)]
