Its amazing what valve trains go through....

Its amazing they last even a few minutes let alone tens of thousands of miles.

Its also hard to believe the valves dont chatter/bounce and seat perfectly, reliably each time.

All camera trickery, they weren't even movin at high revs [;)] haha

It does make you wonder how they're so reliable for so long though yes..................
 
Wow! I wonder what RPM they revved it to at it's maximum? I bet those springs and cams were hot even though they were squirting oil at them, you can see the smoke at around the two minute mark

Good find Paul, I'm not taking my car over 1000rpm from now on [;)]
 
Does anyone know where to find the brilliant video that was shown when the first 911 turbo was released showing the difference between the lazy orange flame in an N/A engine and the blue flash explosion under boost? All I can find is this interesting but hardly exciting video of a go cart engine
