Sad day. We are gonna open our own business so the S2 is up for grabs. Thought I would give you guys first refusal...

S2 1992 with bridge spoiler, "˜944' number-plate, belts and chain done 1K ago, 11 month's MOT, loads of tax, Boxster alloys, new tyres all round, new pads AND discs all round, leather interior, all electrics work. Stainless-steel exhaust.

The only downside is the passenger door handle is stuck, although it opens normally from the inside (it needs taking out, and putting back in properly!). A set of locking wheel nuts are needed (see Alasdair - he has some), and a set of ARB bushes are needed to stop a small knock. And the usual rust patches near the bottom of the doors.

This is probably one of the best around...

Looks like a nice one. I notice you are in York.

I am sure there will be a turbo owner along soon who wants to upgrade. [:)]

looking at the photo I think he's being a bit harsh. Any idea on a price though? I might know a man who wants one.

Far too cheap, if it is as good as it sounds.

Put another thousand on it. No, seriously - you need to differentiate between good and dross, and yours sounds good.

I agree unless there are worries to consider £4,500 is a fairer figure for a solid S2. The chap I'm thinking of paid £6,000 for his last one only a year ago and that had its fair share of issues to resolve.

if I were paying £4.5k i'd expect lower mileage - just my opinion. I think the price is pitched fair for an S2 with that mileage
