I see LIL has a spoiler decal....

......so has Beaky [:)]

A fiddly little beggar to fit but ultimately one of those details that you know Porsche would have done had they thought of it i.e. it looks right.

The reflective letters sit inside the cut out PORSCHE wording, and are reflective as well.

I just feel sorry for you guys with bridge spoilers, 'cos you can't fit one.

I see this mod as the clear indicator of 2007. "What! No rubber spoiler decal?" []

I have to agree they look good after following "Baby WUF" on Tuesday evening.

It looks so good that it now makes me kick myself that I have a CF 968 TS wing on mine. Not.

I'd have one if I had a rubber spoiler for sure though.

Thats funny I was only looking at mine last night and wondering how fiddly it would be to paint the logo inside the spoiler... no need now

Can someone point me in the right direction as to where these can be purchased.
Ideally I would like one in red just to be less confusing to traffic behind me.
Cheers,

Fen,
Thanks for the information. Ordered in red and white. Now looking for somewhere on the front to put the white one.

I assume that cleaning the rubber spoiler with Virosol prior to applying the decals would be alright, has anyone any better suggestions?

Cheers,

Cheers,

I used meths.

A tip for fitting:-

Tie the hatch so that the spoiler is just above chest level. This means you can work on it at a convenient height, get good light and the letters don't fall on the floor.

Pah, it completes the Q-car p.o.s. look. I've only just removed the 'Running in - please pass' decal :ROFLMAO:

I wish I'd put:

'Running In -Please Pass -While you can'

after the engine rebuild on my car [;)]

Fred -you realise that each sticker is guaranteed to increase your top speed by at least 10mph.....[:D]

Mel,
Sound barrier here I come!

Running out of window space for stickers so this is ideal.

Cheers,

p.s. See you in March at Oulton Park with a bit of luck.

Hello John,
Thanks for the tip, makes good sense. Will clear the garage so I can fit the sticker without any wind etc. It just increases the job time by fourfold.[:)]

Cheers,
Have to agree. Wind while working on the car really does't help. Smells linger in boiler suits, I do find.

Avoid the beans.

Oli.

Oli,
A mesh panel in the back of the boiler suit prevents any lingering problems. Just need to clear the garage again.[:)]
Cheers,

Best thing is to use a Q-tip soaked in meths, isopropyl alcohol or even vodka ([;)]) to thoroughly clean out the embossing.

Peel the letters off the backing one at a time and use the tip if a sharp knife (preferebly something like a scalpel blade) to transfer the letters one at a time to the embossing. Finally use the Q-tip to smooth the decal right down with a firm pressure. These have been tested with my Karcher steam cleaner and are holding firm with no problems.

Theyr're now available in high reflective White, Red and Blue !

More pictures to follow tomorrow [:)]

Rick,
Received stickers this morning safe and sound, thanks. Read your fitting tips on a previous posting.
Another on the list of jobs to do on the car.
Cheers,
